MOJAVE
HOUSE OF TEA
Offering Tea Ceremony
in Las Vegas, NV
Mojave House of Tea is a ceremonial space rooted in Cha Dao or “The Way of Tea.” Our offerings invite you into deep presence and stillness — through private tea ceremonies, small group gatherings, and intimate retreat experiences.
Tea is an ancient ritual… a wordless prayer between water, leaf, and fire…
In ceremony, Tea helps us return to the truest expression of the self.
Simple. Unadorned. Present.

“Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves – slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.”
~ Thich Nhat Hanh
Frequently Asked Questions
-
When you arrive, we’ll take a few minutes to settle into the tea room before entering into silence.
Ceremony is held for an hour. We will play curated music and you will be served multiple bowls of tea. There is nothing else you need to know, nothing else you need to do, nothing else you need to prepare for. All that is asked is that you receive the tea as fully as you are able.
Once the silent container is closed, the space is opened for any optional shares or questions. This is a wonderful time to connect deeply and receive reflections from others.
-
The intention of tea ceremony is to offer a quiet, meditative space for presence and reflection.
We will play music during the ceremony, but beyond that, we hold noble silence… allowing space for mindfulness, deep listening, and a greater connection to the subtle nuances of the ceremony.

There’s nothing you need to prepare in advance. Please wear sesonally appropriate, comfortable clothing and arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
Please refrain from bringing technology, strong fragrances, or any other personal items that may distract from the shared space.
You’re welcome to bring a journal if you would like to note your thoughts during the ceremony, but it is not required.

Private ceremonies are held one-on-one and typically last about two hours.
Group ceremonies last closer to three hours which allows more space for connection and deep conversation once the silent container is closed.

Our Tea Ceremonies are given as a donation based offering.
We gratefully receive offerings in all forms. Candles, handmade goods, fresh flowers, and baked treats have all been beautiful expressions of gratitude.
If you feel strongly about contributing monetarily, many guests choose to donate between $30-$50 per person. If you choose to contribute in this way, your offering supports the purchase of future tea and teaware, continuing education, and allows this offering to remain accessible for all. Donations may be made when your appointment is confirmed or are welcomed via Cash, Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay after the ceremony.
Please give only what feels sincere and sustainable for you. Above all else, it is our joy to share Tea with those who feel called to it.

We prioritize sourcing "living tea," which is seed propagated in biodiverse environments with ample space to grow. These teas are chemical-free and rely on natural irrigation, allowing their roots to grow deep into the mountains they call home. Our commitment to living teas supports healthy relationships between plants, people, and the planet, ensuring a sustainable and nurturing tea experience for many years to come. Our most beloved tea shops are Living Tea, Grand Yunnan Tea, and Global Tea Hut.
